It combines live player data, replay parsing, and an AI agent trained on AoE2 strategy to help you win more ranked games: scout your opponent's favorite civilizations and maps before the match starts, get an AI analysis of your recorded games, and ask any question about build orders, unit counters, or civilization matchups.
Everything runs in your browser — no downloads, no mods, no interaction with the game client. The data comes from public AoE2 leaderboards and the official tech tree, so stats and civilizations stay up to date with every patch and DLC automatically.

No. AoE2.ai only reads publicly available data (leaderboards, match history, replay files you upload). It never interacts with or modifies the game client, so it is completely safe and fair to use.
